Natural gas floor furnace pilot okay, but no heat.

Have standing-pilot floor furnace with manually-set Honeywell thermostat. Heat won't come on. Pilot light is burning okay. No sound at all when thermostat is turned up. No clicks, nothing. Should I replace thermostat first? Does it seem more likely to need a new thermocoupler?

I have a Lennox furnace, cira 1972. Replaced thermal coupling. The pilot will light and the furnace will come on when I set the thermostat.
