    Shower Faucet Nipple Too Short
    Hello,

We have a Moen shower faucet that is being installed in a tiled tub surround. The tile is already done, and not enough clearance was left for the tile, so that the faucet nipple coming out of the wall is too short to screw the faucet on. It is about 3/8" too short. Obviously we do not want to rip out the tile wall to fix this. Is there any sort of extender piece or something similar which would give us the needed length?

    Thank you.

The nipple's connected to a drop eared ell, (see image) inside the wall. Simply take a pipe wrench and back the old nipple out counterclockwise and replace with a brass nipple 1/2 " longer. Good luck, tom
