    Having trouble lighting furnace
    Can't find where to light the furnace on an old carrier.

    If your furnace has to be lit manually then it will have a knob on the gas control valve to depress in the pilot position hold down, lite pilot, continue to hold down for one minute, turn knob to on position. The pilot is in the burner section and will have a 1/4" aluminum tubing attached to it coming from the gas control valve. Good luck, Mike
