    Hello

    I purchased a Hampton Bay ceiling fan.

    Can I use a 75 watt intermediate base light bulb?

    The instructions should specify maximum wattage.
    Personally, I would probably use a 60W and conserve a little energy.

    And to add to Capt's answer, the maximum size lamp is probably 60 watts. This info is listed either on the carton, in the instructions, and/or on the lamp socket.
