    Heater on all the time
    OK so here's the deal my wife wakes up this morning and calls me I'm in korea.. tell me the heater in our house 18 months old will not shutoff no matter what temp its set to or if its off/cool/auto so she shuts the breaker off in the house.. or unit has the outside unit and the other half in the attic.. any suggestions

    Is it a heat pump? My answers on them are a little lame and few others are much better. My guess is a relay on the control board has stuck. A whap with a screwdriver handle on the right little metal box on the circuit board might fix it. Of course, it might stick the next time too. Any chance of the thing being under warranty? Circuit boards are hard to trouble shoot and repair. They aren't that bad to replace, except the one for my furnace was $300. I guess it could be a relay on the outside unit too. They may be cheaper and easier to replace.

    What are you doing in Korea? If you are defending us, I would love to be able to help.

    Its central heating and it just started of now where like I said its 18months old in South Carolina we rarely use the heat.. im airforce I come home soon but I would like to fix it without paying an arm and a leg
