    polynomial functions
    consider the function f(x)= x^3+6x^2+9x+4

    -state the intervals over which f(x)>0 and f(x)<0

    &&

    - show that there is a local maximum at x=3 and state the coordinate.

    same with

    f(x)= -3x^4-2x^3+15x^2-12x+2
    -state the intervals over which f(x)>0 and f(x)<0

    &&

    - test the values x=0.5 and x=-2 to determine id they are local minimums and/or maximums and state the coordinates.

    THANKSSS!

How would you solve x^3-3x^2+2=0? Given P(x)=x^3-2x^2-x+8 how could you use its graph to solve x^3-2x^2>4x-8? Does it show you where it shifts and to what quadrant? I'm confused. What is the solution to x^3-2x^2>4x-8? Thank you.
