    ghanging from a trane to a huneywell thermostst
    I'm trying to change my thermostat. From a trane thermo to a huneywell thermo. Icant get the wiring right. I can't find where to put the T wire nor the X2 wire:confused:

    You might want to look at the sticky notes at the beginning of this board.

    O don't think the sticky at https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/heatin...ons-58313.html covers older wiring. If you only have 2 wires, one goes to R or RH, and the other to W. If the thermostat requires a common, it won't work with only 2 wires.
