    Who would inherit our home if one of us should die?
    In Nc if me or my husband should die who gets our home?

    Hello over:

    It depends on how your have it titled. If it's Joint Tenants w/rights of Survivorship, then the living spouse would inherit the other half of the property. If it was simply as joint tenants, then the spouse's heirs/children would inherit the deceased persons half.

    Yes, who is on the deed, Next is there is will. Most married couples have property listed in both their names.
