Tub-to-shower conversion without re-locating drain line.
I want to convert my existing bathtub to a shower by using one of those pre-fab shower enclosures the same footprint size as the existing tub. I have seen several of these pre-fab inserts at Home Depot and Lowe's, but the drain knockout is located in the middle of the enclosure, instead of at the end (where the tub drain currently is located).

I don't want to have to move the drain line, and so I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get a tub-sized shower insert with the drain locate at one end (right hand side looking in)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi,
Try LASCO Bathware, The Nation's Largest Manufacturer of Bath Fixtures. This company makes them and I got one through a local plumbing fixture retailer.
    Good Luck

Lasco is but one of many shower manufacturers who make a shower from tub conversion. You will not usually see them at Home Depot. You might consider Durastall Shower Stalls Enclosures - Mustee
