    Hot water heater
    Our hot water heater's pilot has to be lit like ever couple of hours the pilot light will go out and needs to relit consistly... can anyone help why this is happening

    Check the thermo coupler on the gas valve it is the smaller copper tube going into the burn chamber.. check to see if it is tight into the gas valve.. use a small wrench but do not over tighten.. relit and see if it works.. if not change out the thermo.. This should get you going post back with the results

    I think it sounds like a down draft that is blowing out the pilot... Sometimes

    The vent on the house needs to be extended... You can see if it is blown out

    On days when there is a strong wind, keep this in mind if all else fails...
