    Well storge tank
Hello I removed a water storage tank from my well it was about 325 gal and put in a 30 gal bladder tank and plumed it the same way. The new tank came pre charged now my pump comes on a lot more and the tank seems like its empty all the time seems like no water is going to tank. The presser gauge at the jet pump reeds 30-45 when not on:mad:

You need to be sure the pressure at the air valve on top of the tank is set to 2# below the pressure at which your switch cuts the pump on. So if it cuts in at, say 30#, then set the tank pressure to 28#. A 30 gallon bladder tank should have a draw-down of about 8 or 10 gallons, meaning the tank has that much reserve until the pump has to cut back on to replinish the tank.
