Thermostat Clicks, Furnace Doesn't Come On
I have a Ruud furnace (not sure of age). However, when my thermostat reaches the right degree, I hear the thermostat click (as if it is turning on the furnace). However, the furnace does not power on. The pilot light is lit. I have noticed that at one point the furnace kicked on but after one minute it kicked off.

Any advice would be helpful, as I am a complete idiot when it comes to things of this nature (as you can tell by my description). Simple fix or "Hey, you are about to piss away three grand on a new furnace".

Since you cannot give a better description I suggest you call for service to see if it can be repaired before you piss away three grand OR more.
