Bathroom sink gets no water pressure
I am in the process of updating my bathroom, and am having some problems with the sink.

I installed a Pedestal type sink which was my first mistake. But the problem Im having is with the pipes (which come up from the floor). I installed cutoff valves above the floor, which take in from the 1/2" source pipes and vent to a 3/8" connection. Then I have the flexible rope-like hoses from the 3/8" valve to the 1/2" faucet connection.

When I open the valve, I can hear the lines fill, but when I turn on the faucet, there's is just a trickle coming out.

    Any Ideas?

I also tried the more rigid lines from the valve to the faucet, leaked probably because I couldn't get a good angle on the faucet, the pedestal sink doesn't give you a lot of room to work with.

Did you remove the aerator from the spout and check and clean the screens?

    That is unbelievable, wow.

Yes, it was clogged with debris.

Well I feel kind of silly.

Every now and then my upstairs sink, bathtub and toilet will sputter when the water flows. Cold or hot, doesn't matter. It acts as if I had turned off the main and opened a valve and allowed air in the system, which of course I haven't. I've looked everywhere for leaks, but even if there was a...
