    Feedback please, pregnant??
 Ok, well lets see. My boyfriend and I had a condom slip off during sex and it happened about 10 days before my period started and we had unprotected sex about 4 days before I was due to start. I'm not on because and my period is very different than normal. It was very light and on the whole only lasted 48hrs with 12hrs where I stopped between. Also the blood itself was almost dark brown of old blood and seemed kind of mucusy. I haven't ever experienced this type of thing before. I've had many other symptoms that would indicate pregnancy including moodswings. I've also been nauseaous and when I wake up my stomach is very upset until I put food in it. I usually bleed for 4-5days but I've only bled for 2 this month. My breasts are very sore and I'm tired all the time. I have also taken 2 tests and both came back negative. This scares me because I got tested with my three yr old and it came back negative and I went in a month later to the same clinic and got tested again and it came back positive. I feel like I'm pregnant but I don't know because of the tests and the bleeding. It's not like with my other 2 children. Any feedback would help. Oh I'm 27 and usually run on a 21 day cycle. Though last month it was 28.

Check out the link above. We are always different and so are the signs our bodies give. Please keep the golden rule in mind: When in doubt, see your doctor! It does sound like implantation bleeding, and yes, the HPTs and EPTs can be negative depending on your hormone levels. Have a test done and get back with us. Good Luck, dear.
The following are also some neat sites to check out:

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/sym...gnancy/PR00102 scroll down and even get answers on flying while pregnant, exercise, dangers, etc.
www.askdramy.com The U.K. online doctor.you can post on a forum, or 'ask the Dr. Amy' with a click. The FAQ Tab on the homepage is also a good place to click and has a lot of good subject matter. P.S. Most of the articles are printable in PDF format.

The insurance through my work doesn't kick in until December first. I plan on making an appointment after that. I went to all the sites mentioned and even added them to my favorites. I have read all of the post on the page that showed up just to see if anyone was in a similar situation. I will see the dr. asap. I have all the symptoms that the mayo site lists down to the headaches and the aversion to certain foods. I absoultly love taco bell food and recently just the thought of it makes me want to run for the nearest restroom. I will continue to post as soon as I get more information. I work two jobs and will make the time to go see a dr. somehow. It's very hard to make that time during christmas season when you work retail. Until then any advice will help. I have thought I was pregnant before but I confused it with the onset of my period. This time though the bleeding was different and showed up the day before my period was due. My boyfriend*future hubby, I think he's going to "pop the question"* thinks that I am also. We both agree that intercourse feels very different now than it did even last week. I will take another hpt in about 3 days that will make it a week from the bleeding and the last hpt. I have looked into the psycological aspects of maybe it being all in my head but I don't believe it is. I can't say that this is an unwanted pregnancy, but the timing could have been better... lol... I guess that's what happens when you leave things up to nature. Until we know for sure we continue to use protection just in case we're wrong. We both have mixed feeling about this and if I'm not then we want to stay on the safe side. Thank you for everything.

Oh and just fyi. I do take a daily women's complete vitamin that should cover all the basics until prof positive will help in the dietary area. I have a question about where I can find pics of a uterine growth chart so that I might be able to share it with my guy. I want him to be able to understand what is about to happen to us and I think that this will help. I truly believe that I'm pregnant I just want to be positive and have convermation of my feelings... I knew with both of my previous pregnancies.

Will explain week by week to include the symptoms and emotions, and everything else.

But the other link www.askdramy.com is also a good one, check all the tabs, and find the one on first trimester, second trimester, etc. This will have documents in PDF format that you can save to your computer or copy to disk and take with you on a memory stick also. The documents also have pictures in them. Don't just go to the first pages, dig deeper, OK?
So, go and check them both out. Good Luck.

I took an ept hpt today and it came back negative. I wish I knew what was happening in my body. I guess I'm not pregnant but it sure does feel like it. Well thanks all for your input and help. I will let you know if anything changes. :(

Dear, those tests are not always 100 percent accurate. If you are due and nothing is showing yet, see your doctor - that's the best bet for reassurance. It's almost December, until then, try to relax, and get back with us.

    Period?
I was sapposed to start my cycle on the 13th, today is the 16th. I've started spotting. I still have all the pregnancy symptoms of before and I've started lactating. I took an hpt on the 15th and it was negative. My dr. appt is for the 21st and I'm not sure when to tell him my last period was. Was it last month or this month... or was it in October. I am worried that something serious could be wrong with me... I would think that if I were pregnant it would have shown up on a hpt by now... please help, any advice would be well received.

I thought you said your insurance kicked in on Dec. 1.

Perhaps you should use it to get tested by a Doctor.

    Insurance
It was a week later when it kicked in and I was working 52 hours last week. Just finally got my insurance cards this Wednesday and went and made the appointment today for the only day I have off next week... soooo until next week all I have is feedback from other moms and dads... This is not my first time being pregnant if I am...

Ahh, well that explains it then.

Well, I want to wish you luck. For whatever you wish (whetaher you are or not pregnant)

Canada had free medical care. Having to have insurance for tests is some what of a foreign concept to me.

Lol... thanks... more than likely the dr will order a test done when I tell him about my normally regular cycles being sooooo irregular. I hope it's positive.. I hate to think of the alturnitives otherwise... I'm not really under any undue stress either.

Dear Myth, the attached PDF document also shows the site from where it came from and you can sign onto it too. There are many reasons for us to be 'irregular' sometimes, but if you can give your doctor a hint of about when you thought your periods started, he/she can glean some information from that and also from the tests. I certainly wish you luck and will keep my fingers crossed. Please let us know as soon as you get some news. I for one, wish it to be that extra present, unseen under the tree.

Myth, I agree with Chery. Definitely go to your doctor and have a complete examination. Don't worry so much on telling when your lat period started, especially since you don't know even if it was your true period. Just tell him or her exactly what you expirenced fom the beginning and usually fom there a doctor can give you a clear idea as to what may or may not be going on. Most definitely they will give you a pregnancy usually a blood test which is 100% accurate. If you are pregnant you would be far a long enough for it too happen. When my friend became pregnant she had skipped her first period and must have taken about five different pregnancy tests that all said it was negative. Until sha went to her doctor a few weeks later which then proved through a blood tests that she was pregnant. Home tests are not always accurate. If your not pregnant maybe these weird irregular periods or hormonal(pregnancy) feelings are do to stress. Are you taking any medication? There could be things like that contributing to what's going on.-good luck!

    Dr. Appt
I went to the dr. today and I'm not pg. He said that it could be a thyroid problem or something that started with a g that I just can't remember at the moment. Thanks for all your support. I guess everything happens for a reason and now just isn't the time... there's always new years right?. lol :(

Myth, Im sorry to hear that. I hope the thyroid problem isn't too bad. I believe there are many effective treatments for a thyroid problem, should you have one. I was tested for one about a year ago, it came back negative, but before I found out my doctor told me there are relatively good medications out there to treat it. As far as pregnancy goes, I'm sure the timing wasn't right but hang in there. Ill keep you in my prayers.:)

Sorry to hear that, but don't give up. The 'g' word you were probably looking for was goiter - and the link above will give you information about this condition. As bizygirl said, there is adequate treatment for the condition and if the doctor did not say that you'll never get pregnant, then don't give up hope - there is always next year - that's the attitude. Once you are on the correct medication or even if you need surgery, it should go just fine, and you will still get your chance.
Please do one thing for us, and that's relax and enjoy a stressless holiday. Spend time with your loved ones and keep us posted about the next step your doctor plans for you. Lots of love and hope to you and yours for the holidays!

Has got to be better than this year, for all of us!
