Heop Furnace has pilot but won't kick on blowers
I have a Heil Furnace model 36C03 Type 333 and pilot lights stays lit , and I just replaced the thermostat, but hose says it is 61 and Temp is set at 70, but furnace won't kick on. I am a single mom of four and really can't afford hiring a specialist. I called my brother over and he looked at it, said something about crossing wires and the blower kicked on but no heat... and if he kept the wires crossed it would run full time so he left it alone. If someone out there, has any ideas... please let me know... its cold in Kansas! Thanks in Advance.

Is the gas valve with the wires going to it on the furnace turned on?

It takes a number of steps to start up a modern furnace. Each step has a sensor that reports to the control board. You need to identify the last thing that happened, and check its sensor. You can sort all this out by going to the sticky at https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/heatin...ons-58313.html
And reading the sequence of operations of a gas furnace. The sticky also tells how to check the control fuse. Read through it and post back either saying you found and fixed the problem, or giving us specific details where the sequence stops.

Thanks for all the help. I now have heat... it was a loose connection with one of the wires. But now, it continues to kick on even when the temp in the house says it is 75 and the stat is set at 68. I have a friend coming to look at it tonight... I am hoping again it is something simple! Thanks Again... everyone! :)
