    Moving out
    When can a spouse in Illinois move out after the couple agree to get a divorce? Papers have yet to be filed

    You can move out whenever you want. But be careful about giving your spouse fuel to claim abandonment of the family home if (s)he tries to contest you in court over possession of it.
