    ITIN for withholding
    Do I need to have a ITIN (individual tax identification number) before file federal and state payroll form?

    If you do not have a SSN, yet have a job, you are either working illegally or you are entitled to apply for a SSN and have failed to do so.

    ITINs are normally for dependents.
