    Movie title
    I'm thinking of a movie from the late 80s or early 90s. It's about a scavenger hunt, everyone is in a different colored van and there is a lit up map on the wall. This is all I can remember. Please help!

    I know exactly the movie you're talking about as it is one of my personal favorites... regardless of how bad it actually is. The movie you're thinking of is called 'Midnight Madness'. It stars David Naughton, Stephen Furst, and a number of others, some of which didn't have any kind of career after that. It is also noteworthy for being Michael J. Fox's very first film (although he's only addressed as Michael Fox) and for the cameo by Paul Reubens (aka Pee-Wee Herman) towards the end in the arcade.

    Good news, it is out on DVD, so you can rent it if you want to see it again.
