    Suzuki Esteem
How often should a 2002 Suzuki Esteem need fuel injection service? Should the relay box need to be replaced twice within a 4 month time span?

. I would add Chevron Techron or Shell Regane once every 6 months. Add it about two weeks before you are going to change the oil and filter.

. The answer is no concerning the relay.

Relays that have a pattern failure are contributed to bad contacts, this is referred to as a Voltage Drop, extra resistance in the wire at the connector due to overheating in the past. Please explain what were the visual problems with this relay box. Were the relays changed also?

My turn signal began working intermittently. It would be fine whenever I brought it to the dealership, and would stop working shortly after. It worked intermitennly for about 2 years when it finally stopped all together. The relays were replaced as well.

I also had a problem with the alarm system (so the dealer says). The power locks would go up and down independently as I was driving. I was told the alarm was draining the battery and had the system disconnected, later removed.

A good start would be to see if the relays or a certain relay is getting hotter than the others around it, it is possible that the wiring to this peticular relay may be previously overheated and is causing problems.

Of course there is other wiring in the system and the turn signal switch itself so lets not completely focus on bad relay wiring or just a bad run of new relays.
