Heat does not come on on auto
My ac has work good all summer and now my heat did not come on when I turned it on auto it works only on fan. Could the problem be a contactor?

It's a chance it may be the contactor but unlikely. If you turn it back to cool will it run? If it will you have a low voltage problem if it's a heat pump. If it will not come on in cooling check all breakers going to the system.
