    91 toyota pickup
My toyota has a problem with getting hot. I can drive all over and not have a problem until I have to stop for and couple of minutes. It then will get hot. I also noticed that it is losing water somehow and I was thinking this is probably why it is getting hot. I was curious in what you might think the problem is and if it might have something to do with my other problem that I posted right before this one. Let me know, thanks Zues.

I'm inclined to suspect corrosion or mineral buildup in your radiator. You likely have partial blockage, which becomes apparent when you stop and you don't have the same air flow. Best bet is to replace the radiator, especially after all of these years. Don't let this go too long or it could contribute to head gasket failure. Head gasket failure finally caused my father to get rid of his 1987 Toyota pickup and he never had overheating problems.
