    Judgement
I have a judgement against me that is justified, however I don't make enough money to pay it off. Is there someone I should turn to to help me with this. I would like to get my life in order however because I know nothing about these things I find myself ignoring it

    Hello Ptctree

Ignoring "it" was what got you in trouble. Now before a judgement was entered you had to have had phone calls, letters etc and then when the company decided to sue you you should have received a summons with a court date on it. If you ignored that then a default judgement was entered against you and sooner or later they will garnsh your wages or attach your bank accounts now depending on what state you are in a judgement will stay on your credit report for 10 years or longer and then it could be renewed for another 10 or so I think the only way to clear this up will be to pay it
Since the company has a judgement now there is little need for them to settle for anything less

No there is nothing to do if you were properly served and legally owe the money, ( and within the statue of limitation) there is nothing you can really do unless you are in a position to possibly declare bankruptcy.

As noted you would have had months if not years of collection attempts to "work" something out. Depending on your state, they can garnish bank accounts, pay checks and more.
