Do I have to contact my isp?
I just got a laptop and it came with outlook express 6 already on it.

I have never used outlook express before but would like to if possible.

How do I get the pop3 server and SMTP server? I have no idea how to get these to set it up, do I contact my isp?

Yes, the pop3 and smtp server will be provided by your isp.
As will your email address and password.
Go to their website for the server settings
They should have sent you're the email and password

Be aware that your ISP can only provide you with such information if you're using the email account provided by your ISP... though you may get a friendly/helpful person @ your ISP that may help you anyway.

If you like outlook, check out Thunderbird (free, from the makers of firefox)
