    California inheritance taxes
    I am to inherit property in California and want to know what kind of taxes, at what rate I can expect to pay. Thanks

    Contact the Franchise Tax Board to be sure, but, unless the property exceeds $1 MILLION in value, there will be NO inheritance taxes from California.
