Low Hot Water Pressure in Bathroom only
Hello, I read here about a lady who had an isolated problem similar to mine, but hers was in the Kitchen only and she has a 2 handle system. The pressure in the Kitchen is just fine here. Im having problems in the bathroom, where I have 1 handle systems for both the sink and bathtub. I flushed the hot water heater and the pressure is unchanged. If it were the pipes, Im guessing I would have poor hot water pressure in the Kitchen as well - but that's not the case. Anyway, if it's in fact the faucets, is it a huge undertaking to have a 1 handle system replaced or maintenanced? BTW, the cold water flows good in the bathroom. Also, what would it cost to have a plummer replace the faucets altogether?

    Thanks

I have the same issue. My hot water is hardly coming out of the 1 handle shower system, however the hot water works for both the kitchen and bathroom sinks. I am thinking that it is the valve in the shower. Did you fix your problem? What did you come up with?
    Thanks

Hello levin. I believe it's in the valve as well. I did as ballengr suggested here . It didn't help. But, I felt some crunching in the valve for the bath tub. I think it's just packed in pretty tight and just needs to be either cleaned out or replaced. The one for the bathroom sink turns but won't cut off the water at all.

I don't think they cost all that much and it doesn't look like a tough swap out. But to be on the safe side, Im going to have my brother's fix-it guy swap them out for me when he gets a chance.

Once I get this resolved, Ill post here. Let me know how things go on your end. Good luck!

    Thanks
