    Making Parking Area
For the winter we are trying to figure out how to make a parking area at the front of our lawn near the street. We don't want something permanent or expensive since it is for our 2college aged children. We were thinking either gravel/rock or pine chips/mulch. We would use a snowthrower to clear the snow.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks! :)

I've seen people use patio pavers for temporary driveways. I guess it would depend on the size and weight of the vehicle.

The three options you mention will not work well with a snow blower unless you lower the skids on the side of the blower so it leaves an inch or two of snow. It may not look very nice but you could lay 6 sheets of pressure treated 1/2" plywood down.
