My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. In January of 07 I had a miscarriage, my doctor told me not to worry that many women have one. She said she had a miscarriage her first time but got pregnant right after that. Is there something wrong with me. I was just about 11 days late this month and I thought we were pregnant but I just got my period today? Any suggestions on what to do?:(

Irregularity happens to the best of us... there are many reasons you could have been late this month such as stress. You sound perfectly normal! You got pregnant once so I'm pretty confident that it will happen again for you. Are you timing sex around ovulation? This is EXTREMELEY important. This best method I have found for conceiving is to have intercourse every other day throughout your cycle... this worked for me both times. The first time I got pregnant I too had a miscarriage(June 07). My husband and I decided to try the ole intercourse every other day method this month instead of using OPK's and charting and wa la... I got knocked up :). In my opinion doing this reduces the stress of trying to figure out exactly when you ovulate. Be healthy, take your vitamins, and drink lots of water! It will happen for you!
