    Does anyone know
Does anyone know how long your probation officer has to visit you and explain what is going on after he arrest you on a bench warrant in Pennsylvania. My sister was arrested over a week ago on a probation violation and her probation officer still hasn't come to the jail to tell her what her violations are or when she can expect to go to court. I don't even think she has received any papers from him listing her violations.

    Hello Carla:

I don't believe there is ANY time frame in which a PO is supposed to visit a violator. They probably won't come by at all. Being in jail and not knowing what's going on or when you'll go to court is standard procedure. She'll find out when she's going to court when they wake her up at 1:00 AM to get ready for a 9:00 AM court appearance.

If she wants information, she should hire a lawyer.
