Kenmore washer fill cycle takes a long time
I have a top loading Kenmore washer and the tank fills up extremely slow, sometimes it takes at least 2 hours in all to complete a load or maybe more. When the water is passing through the hoses, it makes a hissing sound. I read that this may be due to a clogged hose or filters. The instructions are easy enough, to remove/unscrew the house valve to reach the filters and unclog. My problem is that I can't get to the valves with any tool because they reside in a small indented space, hoses are very close to each other and althoughvisible from the back the area is not wide enough for my wrench to grab any of these hoses. What else can I do to resolve this problem myself or am I doomed to get outside help?

There is actually a hose removal tool that looks like a pair of pliers with extended rounded ends to allow access into the recess. It is available at Harbor Freight online and most Sears Hardware stores.
