    Grasp the spray arm and unscrew the disk on top of it.

    To take off the arm you may have to turn it as you would normally be tightening it.

    Once the disk is removed on this model the spray arm will lift off. Don't loose the 2 plastic split bearings under the spray arm.

I have a new maytag dishwasher and used it 4 times. There is a terrible odor coming from it after I use it and open it up. I will try vinigar today. This never happened with my old dishwasher. Should I do something or call for repair?
