    Woried about an STD
I have become recently very worried about an STD. I noticed a bump at the opening of my vagina I also have some abdominal pain in my lower left abdomin. I thought I had gotten herpes, but I went into get checked and the doctor said I had nothing to worry about and just gave me a sheet on vaginal cleanliness. I have sense gone back to 2 other obgyn's because my abdominal pain is not going away and I have vaginal itching, but again, nothing. I don't know if it is my paranioa or what's going on, but I am afraid to have sex and I can't shake this feeling that I have an STD. Is there anyone that has herpes that could tell me what it is like or knows more about what might be happening?

You have now seen three gyno's. Now it may be time to see a psychologist. Sometime it helps to talk to a professional. Maybe you are not ready for sex and should stop until you feel more comfortable with all the risks

A good GYN would give you a physical exam and IF he/she suspects something they will order blood tests to determine if you have any possible STDs.

If this has happened with these docs, try to relax and trust their judgement.

You may want to consider a family doctor. Your itchy feeling and abdominal pains could be coincidental and not related to each other. You could have a stomach bug, bowel issues, yeast infection, etc. You could also be causing some physical problems from mental stress.

Yeah, I realize I have a few paranoia problems, I think It is just this bump that has me stressed out. I don't really get how it can be normal, Iv'e been trying to trust their judgement, but are bumps really normal? I know what my vagina looks like and that bump wasn't there for my whole life and now it just magically appears when I change my sex partner. I don't get it

Bumps are very normal everyone gets them either from hairs or irrateded skin. If they say your OK you probably are. And to feed the paranoia here's some reading to look at some good some bad.
    Info on Herpes

Info on Genital Warts and HPV
