    Uploading a file for download
This is probably pretty simple but Im so razzled right now, I can't think...

I have an audio file that I want to make available to all of our employees (who are located across the US). I uploaded it to our server and posted a link directly to the file. EX:

    Code:
    http://www.mysite.com/audio/audio.mp3
But when I click on it, it just plays the audio right there on the web. That's actually cool... but I would like an option for people who actually want to download the file to their computers to burn onto a CD or something.

    Any help?

Zip the file and post it as a ZIP file. If you post it as any file type that the browser can play it will play the file instead of allow downloading. Another possibility is to try right clicking and use Save As or Save Target As.
