    Probability Request for Answer
    If there is a vitamin that is marked 6 ounces with a Standard Deviation of .3 ounces--what percentage of all bottles produced contains more thant 6.51 ounces of vitamins? What contains less than 5.415?

    I need to show work and do not even know how to start this problem. Help!:confused:

    Just use:



    For instance, the first was is for more than 6.51



    Now, look up z=1.7 in the z-table. It corresponds to 0.9554

    You want more than, so subtract from 1 and get 0.0446

    4.46% are > 6.51

    Now, do the other. Taking note it is for less than.
