    What is structural framing and what are the different types of structural framing and their advantages?

    Structural framing are timbers that support a load. A few different types are wood, metal, steal, laminated beams

    As for advantages wood is the cheapest, but is limited to the span, laminated beams are a little more expensive but can span much longer, metal and steel are the strongest and cost the most and are a little harder to work with.
