    How do I get my GF back or move on?
    Although I feel I have been doing much better getting on with my life, I still think about my ex-girlfriend too much. One of the biggest problems is that we work together. She used to be a reason that I liked going to work, now it is "usually" awkward when we are together at work.

    We truly did have one of the greatest relationships of my life, I'm 24, she's 29. She often told me she had never been in a relationship that she enjoyed more than ours. We had a great friendship AND a wonderful physical relationship. She never had that before. We spent more than our fair of time together but it ended because of my drinking. I am a functioning alcoholic. We broke up, had sex a couple times (big mistake), and then I pushed really hard for her to take me back. She doesn't trust me and doesn't think that I'll stay sober. I have been sober for a month and am attending support groups. What else do I have to do. I am engaging myself in a lot of activities to keep my mind off her, like working out, reading, watching my favorite movies, hanging with friends. We had a bit of a codependent relationship, but I'd like to build a NEW relationship. What can I do?

    Unless you manage to accept the problem at work, it is possible that you are headed to a no-win situation. You should be on the lookout for another job before it drives you to drink more and make a fool of yourself. She is not worth it. Neither is the alcohol.

    There might be too many daily 'stress' points that will explode to your detriment. I strongly recommend you talk to someone about your current situation and work on it step by step.

    I truly hope you'll find a way to cope, I know it's hard, but now it is time to 'save yourself'.
