1995 Jeep Wrangler RPM and Oil Problem
I was trying to drive to work this morning and my Jeep starting doing this whole acceleration/deceleration thing and started backfiring on the deceleration part. While this was happening my oil pressure would fluctuate from 0 to half on the pressure gauge (don't rmember the exact psi). When I finally gave-up trying to drive it to work I noticed that the jeep would idle just fine but refused to go over 1500rpm and the pressure gauge registered 0.

My guesses as to what the problem might be:
Bad oil pump (which is probably triggereing something in the computer?)
Bad oil sender unit (which is probably triggereing something in the computer?)
I have no clue and no computer? ;)

Please HELP my jeep needs to work for just one more year! Then I'm selling her or turning her into a planter.

What's the oil change intervals on it? Oils full right? The oil pump may be a little clogged. Someone will have other ideas.

For several months my charging gauge read at or near the red-line. Over the past week it is almost pegged-out if no lights or heat is on (when lights and heat is on it drops to 16-17, but still in the red). I replaced the battery and altenator but the problem still persists. All other guages appear...
