Took plan b, could I be pregnant?
I started my period Sept. 15 and had unprotected sex Sept. 16. I went in the next day and got Plan B. My period abruptly ended. Again, I was irresponsible and had unprotected sex on October 7 and went and got Plan B on October 8 all the while still not having my period.

It is now the 14th, a month from the first time, and I have not had my period, mine are very regular. I am worried but also know that Plan B can disrupt your cycle, but I don't know what it does in the instance of taking it twice in a month.

Should I be going to get a pregnancy test?

Taking Plan B twice in one cycle is not a great idea. It is generally less effective as a result.
Your period stopped abruptly because of the massive dose o hormones. When I took Plan B in June I did not have a period until September and I took a pregnancy test just to be sure.

I would suggest you take a pregnancy test if you are concerned. If you aren't pregnant I would suggest looking into oral birth control or some other form because Plan be is meant to be used as emergency birth control. Having to use it once was enough to scare me off wanting to ever rely on it again.

Depo Provera might be a better choice for someone as irresponsible as helpmedesk2.

Probably best not to make assumptions like that flossie. It's not particularly helpful to anyone. I am not here to judge decisions made by others and it sounds like helpmehelpdesk is only looking for clarification on the effects of plan B when taken twice in a cycle. I made a suggestion of Oral birth control only because plan B is not meant to be used as a regular contraceptive because 1)it messes with your body (2) it is less effective when used multiple times in one cycle. I do not wish to imply that the original poster is irresponsible and if I seemed to imply that then I apologize.

Helpmedesk2 admitted to being irresponsible when it comes to having unprotected sex. I'm sorry if I offended anyone. Depo Provera would be something she could take for birth control which would help protect her from becoming pregnant. She should also think about STD's. I don't think PlanB helps with those.
