    V-Belts for Sears Tractor
    I have a Sears tractor that I want to obtain some V-belts for. The Sears numbers are 148763 and 137153. What are the generic belt sizes that would replace these?

    You can get the Gates belt equlivelent here: Page Interchange

    6421BR, 6443BR

    Well, first of all, I would recommend using only oem belts. They may not be that much higher than the aftermarket,"generic" belts you are referring to. Gates does make good belts, but I would still go with the oem belts by ayp. Ayp makes the craftsman series.

    Happy day, you can fix your mower twice now. Ha ha. Some people don't even need to waste our time. I was simply telling you that oem belts are recommended. Not disagreeing with you. GOOD LUCK!
