    Charging customers VAT
Need help. I work for a sole trader who now due to the amount of income coming in has to charge VAT. Can I have advice on how best to go about informing customers of this in a letter? How should I set this out?:)

Since there is no Value-Added Tax anywhere in the United States (to my knowledge), this question must be about taxes for a country other than the U.S.

That being the case, you should not post it here. This forum is for U.S.-based taxes.
