    Air in my well water.
Hello,I live in a house about 8 years old and on a well.Ever since living here I have had air in the water(very, very tiny bubbles in the water looks like seltzer)I can hear it fiz in a glass and eventually clears up.Chemically the water is fine.I get "choking"in the faucets and washing machine, shower etc.Well pump runs from 40 psi to about 55 psi.I have found no leaks in the home.Any info would be great!! Thanks

    Hey Matt,
Air can get into the system in one of two ways. 1) from the pump capitation, ( where the impeller churns up air, **or** 2) a pinhole leak in the suction line allowing air to enter. My bet's on door number 2. Good luck, Tom

Is the suction pipe the one outside going down vertically into the well?
