If wall unit that installs in place of switch with 2 blacks, and green, connect 1 black to hot,
    Other black to fan.
At fan receiver, black and white connect to neutral and hot from switch.
Then the white, black and blue out, go to fan neutral, fan, and light respectively.

Is this a pullchain switch or a wall switch? What color wires do you have?

It's a pull chain switch (_no_ wall switch; no light fixture; lots of extra wires). There are wires of just about every color in the switch cup, but the ones that have been attached to the switch by the repairman are grey, black, purple, and brown. Thanks again.:)
