Name of TV series with an alien thing and some triangle weapon?
When I was a kid I watched this TV series about a teenage girl and I think her father was an alien (whom you never saw - maybe he was dead?) and she could communicate with him I think via a thing on her bedside table. And in the end, there's this alien - she and her friends think it doesn't like water so they lure it to this place with lots of water, but it turns out that they were completely wrong and it travels via water. I think it gets killed at the end by the girl putting some kind of triangular device (energy weapon?) inside the alien's body.
Can anyone help me remember the series title? PS. Perhaps I'm mixing two TV series together in memory... |

Hi Dayne25, what you have mentioned has jogged my memory of something very similar. At first I thought you were talking about the show called 'Out of this World' until you mentioned the triangle weapon.
I think I may have seen this also. Was the triangle in three parts and only useful when fully assembled? Also, was the alien in a large, black sort of suit of armour? :) |

Like I said, maybe I'm mixing those shows in my head. "Out of this world" is definitely the show I meant, with the half alien girl communicating with her alien father through some device. So cool, I've been searching for this show's name for such a long time... And I think the triangle thing was exactly as you described, same as the alien! What I remember of it is that it came through some kind of hot water canal system to the hero of the show, and it was stopped by pushing the triangle inside it's armor/body.. Do you know which show that one is? |

I do the same thing when trying to remember something so it definitely gets confusing at times lol. I've been looking around for the name of the other show, and I'm determined to find it now as I really liked it too, but as of yet... no luck. I don't know why though :confused: I'll post more as soon as I find it :cool: |
