    Audio back out
I'm having problems with my sound.
Someone mistakenly deleted my 'multimedia audio controller' while I was away.
I have a HP g20581 home PC model with Windows XP.
There is no sound whatsoever, there also isn't a device to adjust volume etc.
When starting the computer, I'm prompted with a window that tells me to install new hardware, which is the 'multimedia audio controller', however I have no cd or the like to install this device.
I have searched the relative websites and I must be blind because I can see nothing that will help with my problem. Perhaps I was looking at the wrong websites, I don't know. It's driving me up the wall.
Any suggestions would be greatfull & helpful.
    Thanks in advance.
