    First of all, why are you wishing to hotwire a mtd, I am guessing it belongs to you, correct? So what is the reason behind the hotwiring issue?

    Well, on my mower its not making any noise at all when I turn the key, how do you bypass the ignition to see and "jump start" it? I have a dayton riding mower

    Yes it is my tractor it is a rally(roper)i cant't get it to start it did when I parked it
