The smell that won't go away
    Speedball,
I got the bathroom smell that nothing seems to effect... I replaced the wax seal on the toilet and re-chalked the base... I poured bleach down the drain at night and flushed it out with boiling water the next morning three days in a row... I sealed off all the drains... ventalated the room... closed the door came back a 1/2 hour later... and again there's the smell... I ran a 25'snake down all the vents.. no clog... This is a scond floor bathroom... I cut a hole in the first floor ceiling under the toilet... nothing leaking... I at a complete lose... any suggesting?

Sounds like the smell is in your walls. What happened to cause the smell? Did you just obtain the house/apartment or did something happen there?
