    Restraining Notice 1861.75 dollars on Hold ?what to do
    HI,
    I received a letter today from the bank and it has attached a letter where a Plaintiff a debt collector company and vs me.

    The letter is about restraining Notice information Subpoena.

    Which says " whereas it appears that you woe a debt ot the judgment debtor or are in possession or in cutory of property in which the judgment debtor has an interest.

    Anyway with other details it said.

    " Now, therefore , we command you that within sever days after receipt of this subpoena you answer in writing separately and fully, under oath, the following questions and return your answers in the prepaid addressed return envelop accompanying this subpoena.

    So what does it mean, what should I do, and what could I do to get my money.?

    Did you pledge a savings account as collateral for a loan? Then, fall behind on the loan payment?

    It is just a savings account. I didn't have any chat with the collectors if I had it could be 4 years ago.

    What it appears is the creditor has obtained a judgement against you for a debt you defaulted on. They have now placed a hold against your savings account and you are required to answer the questions in the subpeona. Depending on those questions, the balance in that account may be turned over to the creditor.
