    Bolens 15.5 38 in cut 6 speed on the fly
    Whole unit jerks at times when blades are engaged. Any answers?

    Could be a bent blade, or the spindle assembly could be missing a bolt, have a broken bolt, or the bearings in the spindle assembly could be bad.
