    Number Patterns
    Could you please tell me what three sets of numbers come next in the following number pattern problem?

    700,500; 600,200; 499,900;

    What you've been given are 3 numbers where there is a common difference between the first and the second, and between the second and the third. What may be confusing you is the language used - the problem talks about "sets of numbers," whereas each "set" is actually just a number with a comma between the hundreds place and the thousands place. Just continue subtracting the difference number three more times. Hint: the 6th term in term in the sequence is 199,000.
