    Algebra 2
    Find the inverse of each relation

    {(2,6),(4,5),(-3,-1)} I'm pretty sure the inverse is
    {(6,2),(5,4),(-1,-3)} am I correct

    Uhmm I think so. Either that or you could just make the numbers their opposites, you know like 3 to -3 or something like that.

    A function is a mapping of a domain to a range. Its inverse is a mapping of that range to the original domain.
    So, for every x value a function returns a y value. The inverse should return the original x value given the y value.
    Net effect is: Yes, you are correct.
