    Getting pregnant
I've heard different stories, but my question is "How possible is it to become pregnant if the man does not ejaculate?"

Are you asking this because there has been actual sexual intercourse-penetration of an erect penis into a vagina, but without ejaculation or pre-ejaculatory fluid? OR for a purely theoretical point of view?

I'm not sure what the point of your question is. Please elaborate. Then I can help.

I don't see why that matters but yes I'm asking because I've recently had sex but he did not ejaculate so I was curious!!

It matters so the advice given is based on the entireity of what you mean.

Like if you said, "we were just messing around, didn't have sex, his penis didn't come anywhere near my vagina, can I get pregnant" then the answer would be no.

If you said "we were naked, messing around, he didn't fully ejaculate, but a little bit of wetness came out near my vagina" then the answer would be, its HIGHLY unlikely that you could be pregnant.

Since you had sex, he just didn't ejaculate... here's your answer...

There could have been pre-ejaculate, which you wouldn't be able to tell/feel anyway, so you would have no idea, but that pre-ejaculate can contain sperm.
Anytime you have unprotected sex, the possibility of pregnancy is there... along with STD's, HIV, etc.

So yes, you can get pregnant, even if your partner didn't "technically" ejaculate. If there was pre-ejaculate then there is a chance sperm was present.

First of all, ANY time you have sex, protected or not, you run the risk of getting pregnant. No form of birth control method is 100%. As Macksmom said, Pre-ejaculate contains sperm. While it doesn't contain as much as full ejaculate does, it doesn't matter, because it only takes ONE sperm to do the job. Pre- can not be felt by either part, so neither of you know when it occurs. This is why we say the " pull out method" is the worst method of birth control you can use, because even if you pull out before he ejaculates, there is still pre- that occurs. So yes, there is a chance you might be pregnant.

Thank you! I was just wondering because I was reading about pre- on some other articles that studies found that there is no semen in pre- but I've heard stories of people still getting pregnant that way. I did have sex with him, but I stopped before he even had a chance to ejaculate so that is why I was wondering. My periods are so irregular and off that I never know when my cycle is, and I've been in relationships that the guy sometimes just never pulled out or pulled out just in time and I never got pregnant. Bound to happen I guess if I'n not careful

Yes, its like playing russian roulette... eventually you'll get the "bullet" .(or in this case, the sperm will get you) There is definitely sperm in pre-, its just a much smaller amount. That makes people feel safer, but as I said, that doesn't matter, because in this case it only takes one to do the job.

Phew! Thanks macksmom, I knew I would be seen as "creepy" or weird for asking for clarification on the op's question.

I WAS trying to understand the point of the question to give the correct response-your response was almost verbatim as to what I woud have replied! Thanks!

The op's lack of contraception worries me though-I suspect she will become a mother soon if this continues (having unprotected sex)-irregular periods are a nightmare for pregnancy prediction-and so is the withdrawral method.

Also I detect that the partners she is having sex with are "less than caring-types" as the sometimes don't even pull out! Holy crap-You need some better partners and contraception NOW!
